RAMP KITS - Each ramp kit is available in 3 finishes - Aluminium / Champagne & Woodgrain effect. Each kit comes with adjustable feet, locating track and joining kit where required. 

SEPARATE COMPONENTS - Individual "sections" can be purchased to add additional length as required. However, you will need to also purchase "joining kits" if you wish to join for example to DV1-80 individual units together or say add a DV1-80 unit to a kit. You may also need to buy additional adjustable feet and locating track. This may a bit confusing so here is are several examples:

Example 1: 

You have a power chair (so you don't need to worry too much about the slope) and you need a ramp to for a threshold that is 5 cm high.  The threshold is approximately 80cm (31 inches) wide. The finish needs to be the Woodgrain effect to match your decor.

You would probably opt for the  DVK3-80W kit. This is 30cm long and 80cm wide. Your threshold is 5cm high so this means that the "slope" will be 1 in 6 (30 divided by 5) which is acceptable for a power chair (take a look at the "RAMP GUIDE" for further information). Everything that you need will be in this kit.

Example 2:

You have a manual chair (so you do need to worry about the slope) and you need a ramp to for a threshold that is 5 cm high.  The threshold is approximately 80cm (31 inches) wide. The finish needs to be the Woodgrain effect to match your decor.

You would probably opt for the  DVK5-80W kit. This is 53cm long and 80cm wide. Your threshold is 5cm high so this means that the "slope" will be 1 in 10 (53 divided by 5) which is acceptable for independent access for most wheelchair users (take a look at the "RAMP GUIDE" for further information). Everything that you need will be in this kit.

Example 3:

This one is a bit more complicated because you have a manual chair but the threshold this time is 7cm high. In order to ensure that the "slope" is manageable it needs to be 1 in 10 - so the length of the slope needs to be at least 70cm. The problem is that the largest kit is the DVK6 which is just 59.5cm long. So you will need to add an additional section of ramp that will make the slope long enough to be comfortable to manage - in this case a DV1 should do the job - its 14cm long so if you add 59.5 to 14 it totals 73.5 - perfect! So what would you need to order:

  1. The main kit - code DVK6-80W (which is 59.5cm long and 80cm wide in woodgrain finish).
  2. The additional ramp section - code DV1-80W (also woodgrain finish and 80cm wide - which gives you the added 14cm that you need to make the slope manageable)
  3. One Joining Kit - code DVJK (this allows you to connect the additional section to the main ramp)
  4. One additional set up Adjustable Legs - code DVF10
  5. One additional Locating Track - code DVT-80

We have listed all the elements as follows:

Ramp Kits are identified for each "Finish" and immediately under each of these sections you will find the appropriate "Separate Components" in the same finish.

At the very bottom you will find "common Separate Components" which can be used in any "finish" (for example additonal locating track).
